Banana Cake

Ingredients

• Frosting:
• 1 1\3 c mashed bananas
• 2 1\2 tbsp. lemon juice
• 1 1\2 c milk
• 3 c flour
• 1 \2 tbsp. baking soda
• 1 \4 tsp. salt
• 2 \3 c softened butter
• 1 c sugar
• 1 \2 c brown sugar
• 3 lg. eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 8 oz cream cheese
• 1 \3 c softened butter
• 3-3.5 c powdered sugar
• 1 tsp. lemon juice
• 1 1\2 tsp. lemon zest

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Put 1\2 tbsp. lemon juice, top to 1 1\2 c milk, set aside
Mix together mashed banana with 1 tbsp. lemon juice,set aside
Mix together butter, brown and white sugar until combined. Add in one egg at a time and vanilla. Mix on high until light ad fluffy
Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to egg mixture stirring just until combined. Fold in bananas
Put in oven and reduce heat to 300 degrees, for 60-70 minutes
Remove from and cool completely
