Ingredients
- 4 large apples
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup premium gin

Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 350. Wash, core, and pare the skin from each apple. Place apples in baking dish. Melt butter in sauce pan. Add all other ingredients, including apple peelings. Bring to slow boil for 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and discard peelings. Pour gin mixture over apples and bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes, or until apples are tender.
Remove apples and place on warmed plates. Pour remaining gin mixture into the core of each apple. Let stand 25 minutes at room temperature.
