Ingredients
- 4 15oz. cans green beans
- 16 slices bacon, fried crisp and drained
- 1-2 med. onions, sliced
- bacon grease (about 1/2 after frying 16 slices of bacon)
- 12 Tblsp. sugar
- 12 Tblsp. vinegar
- toasted almonds, optional

Preparation
Step 1
Fry bacon until crisp; pour off half grease, drain and crumble bacon. Toss together beans, bacon and onion. Mix hot grease, sugar and vinegar in skillet. Pour over bean mixture. Marinate overnight in refrigerator. Cover with toasted almonds if desired. Bake at 350 for 45 min in 9x13 pan.
