Chicken Noodle Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken, cooked & chopped
  • 1 bag egg noodles
  • 2 sleeves Ritz crackers
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small tub sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°.
Boil noodles until almost done so that they won’t get mushy when baked.

Mix the soups and sour cream in a large bowl. Then add the chicken and noodles, and stir until mixed together. Add more salt and pepper for seasoning.

Crush the Ritz crackers and cover the bottom of the 9”x13” dish. Melt the butter and pour about half on the crackers. Pour in the casserole mixture and spread evenly. Add a little more salt and pepper.

Cover with the other sleeve of crushed Ritz crackers, and pour the rest of the butter over the
crackers.

Bake at 350° for about 25 minutes, and then broil for just a few minutes to make sure the top is brown.
