  • Popcorn to make 6 quarts popped corn
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. Karo light corn syrup
  • 1/2 t. soda
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 can mixed nuts

Step 1

Using Presto Microwave Popcorn Popper 1/4 cup of popcorn, no oil, use popcorn setting on microwave. Make 3 batches for 6 quarts.

Pop corn and set aside in a large baking pan. Add nuts. Melt margarine in a saucepan, stir in sugar and Karo syrup. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn and nuts. Bake for 1 hour at 250 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes.
