Easy Spicy Applesauce Cake Squares

Ingredients

• Cake:
• 1 yellow cake mix
• 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
• 1/3 cup water
• 3 egg whites
• 2 teasppons cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ginger
• 1/2 teaspoon allspice
• 1/4 teaspoon cloves
• Topping:
• 1/4 cup rolled oats
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 13 x 9 inch pan with cooking spray and lightly flour.
2. In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients at low speed until moistened.Beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into prepared cake pan.
3. In small bowl, combine toppping ingredients; mix well. Sprinkle over cake batter.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 28-38 minutes.
