Ingredients

  • 2 8oz cans refrigerated crescent roill dough
  • 2 large granny smith apples, cored and peeled
  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 oz Mountain Dew

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven 350*
spray 9x13 pan with no stick
slice the cored and peeled apples into eight wedges
open one of the cans of crescents rolls and carefully unroll it
separate the 8 triangles form each other
place one apple slice on the wide end of the triangle, then roll up like a crescent roll
tuck the ends around the apple slice to completely enclose it
place in the baking pan an repeat with the seven remaining triangles from the first can then repeat again with the second can of crescent rolls
place the butter in a large microwave safe measuring cup and microwave until melted about a minute
sir in the sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon, then spread evenly over the dumpling in the pan
pour the mountain dew around the edges of the pan
bake at 350* for 35 to 40 minutes or until the crescents rolls are golden brown on top
