  • 3/4 Cup Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 1/4 Cups Flour
  • 1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 3/4 Cup Buttermilk
  • 3/4 Cups Chopped Pecans
  • 1 tsp. Lemon Rind, grated

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter with sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Beat well after each addition. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Stir in pecans and lemon rind. Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
