Creamed Onions

Ingredients
- 6 c frozen pearl onions (boiled according to package directions and water reserved) if you can't find frozen pearl onions, you can just use approx 8 small cooking onions peeled and cut
- 2 1/2 c half and half
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 envelope chicken bouillon
- dash hot sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter over low heat, gradually stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Slowly stir in half and half, bouillon and onion water. Cook on low heat and stir until the mixture boils. Boil and stir 1 minute, stir in the onions.
You can add a little nutmeg to this also if you like
