Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 cups cooked, diced beets
- 2 tsp. corn starch
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar and corn starch; add vinegar and water and boil mixture for 5 minutes. Add beets and simmer for ½ hour. Add butter, salt and pepper.
