Ingredients
- 1 lb broccoli florets
- 2 t unsalted butter
- 1/4 c chopped onion
- 1/2 c chopped celery
- 1/4 c canned mushrooms, drained and chopped
- 1/2 c water or veg stock
- 1/2 t basil
- 1/2 t oregano
- 1/2 c plain breadcrumbs

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Place broccoli in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam 4-5 min or until just tender. Drain and keep warm.
Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over med heat. Saute onions, celery, and mushrooms for 4-5 min or until tender. Stir in water or stock, basil, and oregano. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer another 2 min. Stir in broccoli. Transfer mixture to a lightly oiled baking dish and top with breadcrumbs. bake for 15 min.
