Ingredients
- Lemon Glaze:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 tsp grated lemon peel
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup dairy sour cream
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice

Preparation
Step 1
1. In a large mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on med-high speed for 30 seconds. Add the sugar, lemon peel, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl. Beat in egg, sour cream and lemon juice. Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in the remaining flour.
2. Drop dough by a slightly rounded Tbsp 3" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake cookies in a 375 degree oven about 8 min or until tops are firm. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack. In a small mixing bowl, stir together confectioners sugar and lemon juice. Brush the tops of warm cookies with Lemon Glaze; cool.
