Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp- Unsalted butter
  • 1 Small onion diced - about a cup.
  • 2 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 - 30 oz bag of frozen hash brown potatoes- lightly thawed
  • 1 - 10.5 Oz can of condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt/pepper
  • 2 cups shredded sharp yellow Cheddar
  • 1 1/2 cups lightly crushed Corn Flake ceral

Preparation

Step 1

Heat 2 tbsp. butter over medium heat in a skillet.

toss in the onions and cook 6 min. add the garlic, cook for 2 more minutes,

In a large bowl, mix the onion/garlic, the hash browns, condensed soup,sour cream, cheeses, salt/pepper.

Spread the ingredents in a 9x13 pan, top it with 2 tbsp butter melted. 1/2 cup of the cheeses on top. Put corn flakes in the melted butter and spread on top of the cheeses.

Bake about an hour, until it is brown and bubbly.
