Cinnamon-Banana Sundaes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp coffee liqueur, rum or apple juice
  • 3 Tbsp butter, cut up
  • 3 firm ripe bananas, bias-sliced 1/2" thick
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream
  • Whipped cream
  • Toasted pecan pieces

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Sprinkle bottom of 1 qt casserole with brown sugar. Pour liqueur over sugar; top with butter. Add banana slices and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Cover loosely with foil and bake about 15 min or just until juices around edges of casserole begin to bubble. Stir gently. Spoon banana mixture over frozen yogurt. If desired, top with whipped cream and pecans.
