Cheese Potato Soup

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. Bacon (no substitution – 1/2 butter and 1/4 cup prepared Bacon)
- 6 Cups Chicken Broth
- 2 to 2 1/2 lbs. Shredded Cheddar Cheese – Sharp
- 2 Cups – half & half
- 2/3 Cups Flour
- 5-6 Diced Baked Potatoes (substitute 2 lbs. Hash Browns)
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tbs. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1/8 tsp. Red Pepper (Cayenne)

Preparation
Step 1
Fry bacon. Leave grease in pan, remove bacon for later. Add flour. Slowly add Chicken Broth. Bring to boil. Add everything except cheese and bacon. Simmer 10-15 minutes. Add cheese. Simmer another 10 minutes, add bacon. Makes 4-5 quarts.
