Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes sliced
  • 1 onion
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400

Layer potatoes, top with onion, season with salt and pepper.

Melt butter, mix in flour and salt, stir consistently , stir in the cheese until melted.

Pour over potatoes.

Cover with foil. Bake 1 1/2 hours.
