Simple Smashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound red potatoes, peel left on
  • 1- 8 oz. package of cream cheese
  • 1 bunch of green onion, chopped
  • ground white pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium-sized heavy saucepan, place the potatoes with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil and let continue to boil until the potatoes are tender, about 12-15 minutes.

Drain the potatoes and transfer to a serving bowl. With a potato masher or a fork, smash the potatoes with the cream cheese and onions. Season with sea salt and white pepper.

Serve hot.
