White Bean Chicken Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Great Northern Beans, soaked
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans (4 oz each) green chilies
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp dried orgeano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breats
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) reduced sodim chicken broth
  • 1 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Put beans in medium pan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and allow to simmer 20 minutes. Drain and discard water. Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces and brown if desired, Put all ingredients into stonewear. Stir to mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on LOW 10 hours or HIGH 6 hours.

OR YOU CAN SOAK THE BEANS OVERNIGHT.
