Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Butter, softened
- 1 Pkg. Yellow Cake Mix
- 1/2 Cup Coconut
- 1 Cup Apple Pie Filling
- 6 Peeled Apples, sliced
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 Cup Sour Cream
- 2 Egg Yolks or 1 Egg

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut butter into dry cake mix until crumbly. Mix in coconut. Pat mixture lightly into ungreased oblong pan (9 x 13"), building up slightly around edges. Bake for 10 minutes. Arrange apple pie filling and sliced apples on warm crust. Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle on apple mixture. Blend sour cream and egg yolks; drizzle over apples. Topping will not completely cover apples. Bake for 25 minutes until edges are slightly browned. Do not overbake. Serve warm. Serves 12-15.
