    lbs. boneless pork butt shoulder

  • tsp. smoked paprika

  • 2

    tsp. black pepper

  • 1

    tsp. cayenne pepper

  • 1

    tsp. dried thyme

  • 1

    tsp. garlic powder

  • ½

    tsp. salt

  • 1

    c. water


Combine all seasonings in a small bowl and rub evenly over roast. Place meat in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add water. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 4-5 hours or until pork is very tender. Place pork on large cutting board or platter and let rest for 10-15 minutes. Pull, slice or chop to serve.
