Ingredients
- 2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons LAND O LAKES® Butter
- 1 medium (1/2 cup) onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 pint (2 cups) LAND O LAKES™ Half & Half
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic salt

Preparation
Step 1
Place tomatoes in food processor bowl fitted with metal blade. Cover; process until finely chopped.
Melt butter in 3-quart saucepan until sizzling; add onion. Cook over medium heat until onion is softened (4 to 6 minutes). Stir in flour, salt and pepper; continue cooking until smooth and bubbly (1 minute).
Stir in half & half with wire whisk. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until mixture is thickened (8 to 10 minutes). Stir in all remaining ingredients; continue cooking until heated through (5 to 7 minutes). (DO NOT BOIL.)
