Pork Chop Marsala

Ingredients

  • 6 each pork loin chop
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons minced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup marsala wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

RINSE pork chops and roll in flour until all sides are lightly coated; set aside.

MELT butter in a large skillet; add onions and garlic and saute 2 or 3 minutes. Add chops to pan and cook about 5 minutes per side over medium low heat. Add marsala wine, broth and seasonings and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Turn the chops once during cooking. Sauce should be slightly thickened.

PLACE pork chops on a platter and serve with sauce remaining in pan.
