- 1/4 c fennel seeds
- 2 t sea salt
- 1 t ground black pepper

Step 1
In a small nonstick skillet over med heat combine seeds. Cook,stirring occasionally, for 3-4 mins or until seeds are fragrant and slightly browned. Transfer to a plate and set aside to cool slightly, 1-2 mins.
Transfer seeds to a spice grinder or mortal and pestle and pulse or crush to coarsely grind. Stir in salt and pepper. Store in an airtight container at room temp for up to several months. Rub it on beef, pork, chicken, seafood or veggies.
