ZZ Crock Pot Beef Short ribs

  • 6 lb Beef Short Ribs
  • 1 1/3 c. Brown Sugar
  • 1 c. Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 c. Rice Vinegar
  • 1/4 c. Sesame Oil
  • 1 c. Beef Broth
  • 1 tblsp Chinese Mustard
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Flour
  • Butter
  • Onion


Preparation time 15mins
Cooking time 375mins


Step 1

Melt butter in pan. Chop onion into very small pieces and place in butter to saute. Set aside. In remaining butter, brown ribs that have been dipped in flour. Place ribs in slow cooker. In a bowl combine all other ingredients and mix well. Pour over ribs. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until tender.

Remove ribs and place juices in saucepan. Add cornstarch and bring to a boil. Cook about 2 min. or until thick stirring constantly.
