Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) whole new potatoes, drained and diced
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 can (15 1/4 oz.) corn, drained
  • 1 can (14 3/4 oz.) cream-style corn
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In large pot, cook onion and celery in butter until tender. Add potatoes, ham, half-and-half and both types of corn. Cover and simmer ten minutes, stirring frequently. Do not boil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Note: May substitute one large potato, cooked and diced.
