Wild Rice and Sausage Bake

Note: instead of sausages you can use pork mince and fresh sage for this recipe. Replace 8 pork sausages with 500g of pork mince.

Ingredients
- 125 125 125 gms wild rice
- 8 8 8 pork sausages (extra nice if you can find sage pork sausages)
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup celery
- 1 1 1 brown onion, chopped
- 200 200g 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 1 1 tin water chestnuts, drained and sliced
- 1 1 1 tsp garlic
- 2 2 2 eggs, beaten

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees celsius. Lightly grease a baking dish. Cook rice according to directions.
2. Place pork sausages in a skillet and cook. Add garlic, celery, onion, mushrooms and water chestnuts and cook until browned and tender.
3. Mix rice, sausages, celery mixture and beaten eggs in baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes until lightly browned.
