Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless PORK CHOPS
  • 1 lg. ONION
  • 1 tsp. Minced GARLIC
  • 2 T. Olive OIL
  • 1/2 head CABBAGE, large chopped
  • 1 tsp. Crushed RED PEPPER (optional)
  • 5 med. RED POTATOES, halved
  • 1-1/2 C. WATER
  • 1-1/2 C. APPLE JUICE

Preparation

Step 1

Brown PORK CHOPS on both sides in a Large Coated Skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet saute onion and garlic in the oil until onion is slightly browned.
Add CABBAGE and RED PEPPER and toss well to coat cabbage with the oil.
Place POTATOES in skillet and push down into the cabbage.
Bring the WATER and APPLE JUICE to a boil, pour over cabbage and potatoes in the skillet.
Place the brown CHOPS on top of all.
Cover and cook until potatoes are tender usually about 30 minutes.
