Easy Crock-Pot Baked Ziti

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 64 ounces spaghetti sauce, any kind
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 egg
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 16 ounces uncooked ziti noodles

Preparation
Step 1
Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet.
Mix in Italian seasoning, salt and spaghetti sauce with beef and set aside.
Ina separate bowl, combine 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, all of the ricotta, and all of the Parmesan cheese with the egg.
Spray crock-pot with non-stick cooking spray.
Layer ingredients:
1. Pour 2 1/2 cups sauce and spread evenly
2. Spread 2 cups of ziti noodles over the sauce
3. Add 1/2 of the cheese mixture-drop in balls and carefully spread over noodles
4. Pour another 2 1/2 cups of sauce over cheese and spread evenly
5. Sprinkle rest of ziti noodles over the sauce
6. Add the other half of the cheese mixture
7. Pour remaining sauce mixture onto cheese, carefully covering all the ingredients
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours
About 10 minutes before serving, sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese. Serve when cheese is melted.
