Mark's Clam Dip
- 1 lb Bacon, chopped
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 4-5 celery stalks finely chopped
- 5 cans minced/chopped clams drained into large measuring cup (reserve liquid)
- Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Saute bacon, remove from pan, add onion, celery, to bacon drippings, saute until slightly browned. Add clams to pan, season with oregano and add the breadcrumbs and mix together adding clam juice slowly, do not make mixture too wet. Continue to add additional bread crumbs and clam juice to thicken. Do not make mixture to dense. Add additional oregano to taste, Salt and Pepper to taste.
