Baked Whole Flounder


Delicious baked flounder is one of the best fast fish recipes you can have in your repertoire. Butter, wine and lemon make this flounder savory and tasty.

  • 1 to 2 whole flounder
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 ounce dry white wine
  • 3 to 4 thin slices onion
  • 3 to 4 thin slices lemon
  • Sea salt & fresh pepper
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Cooking time 50mins


Step 1

Pre-set the oven to 350°F. Place fish in large pyrex dish. Add salt & pepper. Place onion & lemon on top.

In a small bowl, mix butter, paprika & wine. Blend. Pour over dish.

Cover, bake 30 to 40 minutes until done, white & flakey.

Serve hot with parsley.
