Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 egg
- 1 (6 oz) pkg cornbread mix
- 1/2 cup half and half
- pinch of sugar
- pinch of seasoned salt
- 3/4 cup cream style corn
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter. Drizzle about half of the butter into a 9"x9" casserole dish (or cast iron skillet).
In a large bowl, beat the egg, add the cornbread mix, half and half, spices and half of each of the corn and pecans. Spoon into casserole dish. Distribute the remaining corn, pecans and green chilies over the top of the corn mixture, then drizzle remaining butter over top. Bake at 375 degrees until lightly browned, about 22-25 minutes.
