Ingredients

    stick butter

  • 1

    TBS lemon juice

  • 4

    – 5 oz. cream cheese

  • 2

    TBS chopped shallots

  • 4

    TBS sherry

  • 1/4

    tsp salt

  • Pinch nutmeg

  • Pinch cayenne

  • 1

    TBS chopped chives (for garnish)

  • 1

    pound very small shrimp (may use canned shrimp)

  • Toasted French bread rounds

Directions

Put all ingredients but shrimp and chives into pot and heat but DO NOT BOIL or will separate. Add shrimp just before serving. Serve over toasted French bread rounds; garnish with chives.
