Spiced Apple Bread

This recipe is awesome! It is dense and flavorful. It resembles that Amish cinnamon bread that takes 2 weeks to make but this is quicker and easier to make and doesn't require giving batter away: )

Ingredients
- 2 2/3 C flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 2 C granulated sugar
- 1 C vegetable oil
- 4 eggs beaten
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 C coarsely chopped apples
- 1 C raisins
- 1 C chopped pecans
- 2 tsp. sugar mixed with 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar and oil. Beat in eggs and vanilla, then stir in chopped apples, raisins, nuts. Add the dry ingredients and mix until well blended. Grease 2 9x5 inch loaf pans
3. Bake for 20 min. at 325. Pull out of oven and sprinkle cinnamon/sugar mixture over the top.
4. Return to oven and bake for 30-40 minutes or until inserted tester comes out clean.
