Ingredients

  • Pinto Beans (as many as you want to make)
  • water to cover beans.
  • 1/2 Cup crisco
  • 3 Cups shredded Jack Cheese
  • Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Clean & wash Pinto Beans really well. take out all bad or broken beans.
Put pinto beans in a dutch oven, Cover with water add salt
Cook on medium heat, until pinto beans are soft. (as they cook add more water if needed)
Mash beans with a potato masher, now add Crisco, cheese & more salt. if you need too. stir well.
