Fire Grilled Garlic Bread

- 1 loaf french bread
- 8 tablespoons butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Working at a steep angle, slice the french bread 3/4 inch to 1 inch thick. You want the slices thick enough so that they are sturdy on the grill.
Using a wooden spoon, cream the softened butter with the garlic, parsley, parmesan, salt, and pepper. Using an offset spatula or bread knife, generously butter both sides of each slice.
Grill over high heat for about 1 to 3 minutes on each side, or until nicely browned. Check frequently, because bread burns quickly on the grill.
