Potato Salad -

  • 4 pounds white or yellow potatoes
  • 5 stalks of celery
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • salt and peper to taste
  • adjust dressing to the amount of potatoes and to taste.


Preparation time 40mins
Cooking time 60mins


Step 1

Cook potatoes until done and let cool. Peal potatoes and cut into slices.

I use an egg slicer to get the potatoes uniform.

Dice celery stalks and add to potatoes.

Combine vinegar, sugar, salt and celery seed in a small bowl and mix until sugar dissolves. Then pour over potatoes, add mayonnaise and salt and pepper to taste.

Mix well and refrigerate.
