Ingredients

  • 6 cups thinly sliced, peeled cooking apples
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • dash ground nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add suger mixture to the apples and toss to coat. Fill a pastry lined pie plate and dot with butter.

Adjust top crust and seal and flute edge. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Remove foil edging and bake for another 25 minutes
