- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 t. cinnamon
- 3 medium peaches, sliced (2 cups)
- 2 medium green cooking apples, peeled and thinly sliced (2 cups) (sometimes I microwave the slices for 30 seconds)
- 1/4 c. sliced almonds
- 1 T. butter or margarine
Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon in large bowl. Stir in peaches and apples. Spoon into pastry-lined pie pan. Sprinkle with almonds and dot with butter or margarine.
Put lattice crust on top. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until the crust is brown and filling is bubbly. Cool on wire rack. Serve slightly warm.
