Ingredients
- 7-8 chopped pitted dates
- 2 Tbs warm water
- 8-10 raw or roasted unsalted almonds
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 very ripe frozen banana
- 8 ice cubes
- Optional: 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

Preparation
Step 1
Pit the dates in a bowl and sprinkle with the warm water. Let soak for 5 min to soften then drain.
In a blender combine the dates,almonds,yogurt,banana,ice cubes and the nutmeg. Blend until smooth and frothy. about 30 seconds. Pour into tall,chilled glasses and garnish each with a dusting of nutmeg.
