Ingredients

  • 6 cups broccoli rabe rinsed, and 1 large stems removed - (abt 2 bunches)
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 medium garlic cloves minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper or to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon table salt or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts toasted

Step 1

Blanch broccoli rabe in a large pot of boiling water for 2 minutes; drain.

In a large skillet, heat oil. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add broccoli rabe and cook 4 minutes; season with salt and pepper.

Add pine nuts, toss and serve.

This recipe yields 4 servings; about 1/2 cup per serving.
