Ingredients
- 1/3 Cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 can peach halves
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 Tablespoons peach syrup

Step 1
Pour butter into deep dish baker; sprinkle with brown sugar. Drain peaches; reserving 6 TBS of syrup. Arrange peach halves, cut side down in a single layer over sugar. Set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs until thick and lemon colored, gradually beat in sugar. Add vanilla and reserved syrup. Combine flour, aking powder, and salt, add to egg mixture and mix well. Pour over peaches. Bake at 350F for 30-40 minutes, cool for 10 minutes; invert cake onto serving plate. Serve warm.
