Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped Onion
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/4 tsp. Pepper
  • 2 Cup Milk
  • 4 oz American or Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 tsp. Chicken Bouillon cubes
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 cups or 1 bag of frozen broccoli

Preparation

Step 1

1. large saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender. stir in flour and pepper till blended well.

2. add milk all at once. cook till thickened, stirring constantly. add cheese and stir until melted. remove from heat

3.combine bouillon cubes, water and bay leaf. bring to a boil.

4. add broccoli and cook for 5 minutes. Remove bay leaf. add to cheese mixture. blend well and serve immediately.
