Pork Chop Skillet

  • 4 lean rib pork chops 1/2 in. thick
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp sage
  • 1 12-16 oz can whole green beans (drained)
  • 1 12-16 oz can whole kernel corn (drained)


Servings 4


Step 1

Season Chops with salt & pepper. Brown chops in oil in a large skillet. Remove chops from skillet and reserve. Add onion and cook until almost tender. Pour in tomato sauce and sage. Return chops to skillet. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add vegetables and simmer about 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Skim fat from surface if necessary
Makes 4 servings
