Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork loin, cubed
- cooking oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, mashed
- 2 quart water
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- salt
- 1 pound hominy
- 3 tbsp. chili powder
- potatoes

Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot, brown pork. Add in onions and garlic and saute for one minute. Add water, bring to a boil and cook until meat is tender (20 minutes). Add hominy, chili powder, 1 bouillon each of chicken and beef and continue cooking for about 45 minutes. If needed, add additional bouillon cubes to taste. Add potatoes. Cook for another 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Garnish with green onions, sour cream, avocado, shredded lettuce, hot sauce, jalapenos
