Cheesy Ham Macaroni

Ingredients
- 1 package elbow macaroni (8 oz. size)
- 6 Tbsp. butter, divided
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of salt and pepper
- 2 Cups milk
- 2 Cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 Cups cubed, fully cooked ham
- 1/2 Cup crushed Ritz Crackers

Step 1
Cook the macaroni according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, melt 4 Tbls. of the butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth; gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute, or until thick. Reduce heat. Add the cheese; cook and stir until melted. Stir in ham.
Transfer to a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle with cracker crumbs. Cut up remaining butter into small chunks and sprinkle over the top of the cracker layer. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
