Ingredients
- 1 YELLOW CAKE MIX WITH PUDDING IN THE MIX, DIVIDED
- 2 EGGS
- 1/4 C OIL
- 1/4 C WATER
- 4 T BROWN SUGAR
- 2 APPLES, PEELED AND DICED
- 1 C CHOPPED NUTS
- 2 T BUTTER, MELTED
- 1/4 t CINNAMON
- 1/2 C CARAMEL TOPPING

Step 1
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350* GREASE 8" PAN. RESERVE 3/4 C CAKE MIX IN MEDIUM BOWL.
BEAT REMAINING CAKE MIX, EGGS, OIL, WATER AND 2 T BROWN SUGAR IN LARGE BOWL WITH ELECTRIC MIX AT MEDIUM SPEED 2 MINUTES. STIR IN APPLES. SPREAD BATTER IN PREPARED PAN.
COMBINE RESERVED CAKE MIX, REMAINING BROWN SUGAR, NUTS, BUTTER AND CINNAMON IN BOWL, MIX UNTIL WELL BLENDED. SPRINKLE OVER BATTER.
BAKE 40-45 MINUTES OR UNTIL SET. COOL CAKE IN PAN ON WIRE RACK. CUT INTO SQUARES, TOP EACH PIECE WITH CARAMEL TOPPING.
