Ingredients

  • 2 lb. cubed round steak
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 (4 oz) can mushrooms and juice
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 1 (4 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. sherry wine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup chopped garlic
  • dill pickles
  • 1 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Dip beef chunks in flour and brown in fat. Add other ingredients except for cup of chopped garlic, dill pickles and sour cream. Cook in 325 degree oven for 2 hours. Just before serving, add the cup of chopped garlic, dill pickles and sour cream.
