Ingredients

  • 4 TB butter
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 TB parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 1 pound mixed fresh mushrooms, trimmed and sliced
  • 1 cup Marsala cooking wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, melt the butter with the olive oil over high heat. Add the mushrooms, parsley, pepper and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally until golden. Add the Marsala and cook 4-5 minutes, stirring until reduced. Add the cream and continue to cook until slightly thickened. Sprinkle with parmesan.
