Apple Pie Filling

  • 4 1/2 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Cup Corn Starch
  • 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. Cinnamon (I use a little more)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Juice of a Lemon
  • 3 Drops of Yellow food Coloring
  • 10 Cups of water
  • 40 Apples peeled and Cored and Sliced



Step 1

Mix all but apples and cook until thick then put Apples in hot mason jars pour sauce in jars and seal. Process in hot bath . When it starts boiling time it for 10 minutes.
