Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes
- 1 can (16 ounces) black beans, undrained
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 cups MINUTE Instant Brown Rice

Preparation
Step 1
Cook and stir onion in hot oil in saucepan until tender but not browned.
Add tomatoes, beans, oregano and garlic powder.
Bring to boil. Stir in rice. Return to boil. Reduce heat cover and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.
